Some number of years ago in the aromatic state of New Jersey, something happened that would greatly impact my existence. I, David Michael Pijor, was born. Many things have obviously changed since that moment, but one important fact has remained constant: pronouncing my last name correctly can be amusingly difficult. Alright, so that's not the only thing. Besides the persistent butchering of my beloved surname, ever since I can remember, creativity has run my life. This has lead me to where I am today - homeless. No, not really. What I'm actually doing is living in Richmond, VA with a degree in Creative Advertising from Virginia Commonwealth University. I've also just recently started freelancing doing graphic and web design and while I love being the boss and employee, the "office holiday parties" tend to be disappointing...especially Secret Santa. In additon to all of this, I am an improvisor. Technically, I've been improvising every day of my life, but I've been performing improv comedy for about 10 years now. Almost every weekend, I can be found making stuff up and making people laugh at the ComedySportz Improv Theatre in Richmond. Believe it or not, the improv world and business world have very much in common. In order to succeed in both you have to be: a) a team player Large corporations everywhere actually hire improvisors to lead them in teambuilding seminars that help foster positivity, creativity, and teamwork within the workplace. So...I guess my training in improv has made me one step ahead of the game already. Well, I believe that is all for now.
